To promote these outstanding compressors, Secop partnered with Forward Film to produce a promotional video.
Forward Film, based in northern Germany, utilized state-of-the-art technology to bring the SCE Plus film to life. A key creative challenge was to have a female character transition smoothly between multiple locations while the backgrounds changed dynamically. This required blending live-action footage of the model with 3D-generated environments, all captured with continuously moving camera work to create a modern, fluid aesthetic.
To accomplish this, Forward Film employed its proprietary motion control robot system—a technique commonly used in commercials and films. This system features a camera mounted on a robotic arm that travels along a rail, enabling the crew to reproduce precise, repeatable camera movements to transition the model seamlessly from one setting to another.
The camera movements were designed and programmed virtually ahead of the shoot. As a result, the team had already visualized the entire sequence and preloaded it into the robot before filming. To maintain creative control on set, the 3D backgrounds were rendered live in the studio based on real-time camera movement and displayed on monitors for immediate feedback.
