Secop, the global expert in advanced compressor technologies and local distributor Air-Frost Refrigeration Component Supply SDN BHD, showcased the innovative and sustainable development concepts and achievements at ENERtec ASIA 2024 (REVAC). In line with eco-friendly and sustainable innovation, Secop promoted the use of hydrocarbon refrigerants and electronically controlled variable-speed compressors.
Secop developed a set of new, green, and efficient solutions. The latest solutions target core areas such as light commercial and professional refrigeration applications, battery-driven mobility applications, and ultra-low temperature (ULT) for medical cold chain, distribution, and service.
A range of innovative products for Stationary Cooling such as fixed-speed drives (KL-Series) and electronically controlled compressors (SLVE18CN, NLV12.6CN) were available in the exhibition. About the electronic control units, a dedicated area for the NEXT generation of efficient and effective controllers with a modular SW-HW design developed by Secop. They allow flexible configurations based on system needs. The controllers offer optimized performance and even more energy efficiency, with particular attention paid to low GWP HC refrigerants.
At the Mobile Cooling DC battery-driven segment, the spotlight was on the BD Nano compressor. This compact and lightweight solution, with its enhanced cooling capacity, premium efficiency, low noise, and low vibration, is tailor-made for automotive applications. It's the perfect fit for the new generation of refrigerators in electric vehicles, recreational vehicles, trucks, and boats.

The latest solutions for the Medical Cooling segment showcased at the exhibition, are designed to revolutionize the cold chain and vaccination efforts in rural or remote areas worldwide. The Solar Direct Drive medical appliance (BD Nano with a dedicated Electronic Controller), which allows refrigerators to operate using solar energy, is tailored to WHO PQS requirements and monitoring systems. It's the perfect solution for off-grid and weak-grid vaccine refrigerators, solar direct drive coolers and freezers, and ice bank refrigerators. It enables refrigerator manufacturers to meet the latest voltage stabilization requirements.
