Secop is expanding its business focus by introducing its most recent product platforms for household applications to the Chinese market: The DLX and NLU series of compressors. Secop is already present in China with both production and sale of compressors for light commercial and mobile applications. The new products for household applications will be displayed at the Appliance World Expo in Shanghai on 15-18 March 2011 together with compressors from Secop’s other two business areas: Light commercial and Mobile.
DLX – Turning down the Noise
Based on a brand new platform, the DLX series of household compressors is a significant upgrade to a range that covers the entire field of household appliances. Being 50% more silent than comparable compressors, the DLX series offers a substantial advantage in applications that rely on low noise operation. The low noise level is combined with a 20% boost into 10 cm3 and is perfectly suited for energy efficient refrigerators and small freezers.
NLU – Pure Efficiency – and Robustness
In today’s global competition, manufacturers of refrigeration equipment are constantly looking for ways to improve the energy efficiency of their cabinets with the smallest possible investment. It is a fact that the compressor is the most energy consuming component in a refrigeration system. By utilizing the efficiency of the NLU compressors, the manufacturers of household appliances can save considerable R&D and production resources when optimisation is needed. The NLU range is intended for use in large household applications and will be available in models up to 15 cm3 which makes it larger than competing models. Furthermore, the NLU is already now available in an extra robust version (tropical), which is perfectly suited for markets with high ambient temperatures and/or unstable power supplies.
